Stress & Anxiety
These can show up in a variety of ways, sometimes hand in hand and sometimes it's one or the other.
Whether it's social anxiety, helath anxiety, work or family life stress ar anything else that might be getting the heart racing and fear response triggered - hypnotherapy can help to uncover the origin of the problem in order to help find a new way to cope, however big or small.
Depression
Struggling with depression can feel so isolating and like there's no way out.
The good news is that there definitely is!
Just like with stress and anxiety, hypnotherapy can help people understand where this problem stems from and why it's happening. From here we can change this programming and free people from it, helping them to move forward with more light and a clearer perspective.
Trauma
Trauma is what happens when an experience feels too overwhelming to process at the time, leaving a lasting impact on how we feel, think, or respond.
Some people are aware of their trauma and others not so.
In either case, hypnotherapy works gently and safely with the subconscious mind to reveal the source and release the emotion around it, allowing the client to move forward with peace.
Intuitive Eating
Contrary to popular belief, Intuitive Eating is not another confusing weight loss diet. Simply put it's just eating!
It's relearning to trust your body's natural hunger and fullness cues. Something that so many of us have lost the ability to do with all the conflicting "healthy eating" messages out there.
Hypnotherapy can help people to free themselves of this, reconnect their body and mind and even learn to love the body they're in right now.
Fears & Phobias
Fear is natural, necessary even. It can keep us safe from harm and in most situations it is proportianate. Sometimes though, the anxiety around such fears can stop people moving forward. Whether it be a fear of failure, public speaking, playing a sport or anything else, hypnotherapy can help to release some of the disproportionate emotion around the it so we can "feel the fear and do it anyway"!
Phobias are a bit different. Sometimes people have so called "rational" phobias such as heights or deep water. Others can be less so. But hypnotherapy can be a really effective way of getting to the bottom of the phobia, releasing the emotion and letting go of it all together.
Habits & Addictions
Generally speaking habits are not physically harmful and can usually be changed without significant physical withdrawal. Whilst this may be true that doesn't mean they aren't detrimental when they become so deeply ingrained that willpower alone cannot break them and when someone's life is on hold because of the issue.
Addiction is more complex due to the physical implications they can have within the body and brain. And generally speaking they're compulsions and needs as opposed to behaviours.
That being said there are some habits that can feel like addictions, like OCD for example.
In either case, hypnotherapy can help people to understand where their habit or behaviour stems from, and using various techniques works to free people from them.
Confidence
Confidence is so unique to everyone. Some people appear to be confident in every aspect of their lives (doesn't necessarily mean they are of course), while others feel they lack any at all. Then there are those who feel really confident in one area and completely the opposite in others.
In any case, a lack of confidence can be a real sticking point for people; whether they're trying to move forward in a career, meet new people, start a new hobby or just feel better in themselves.
Hypnotherapy can help people to see how amazing they really are, and give them the tools to move forward, head held high and handle anything life throws at them.
Performance Enhancement
Actors, musicians, artists, writers, sportspeople, many of these people have areas where they'd like to improve.
Whether it be an uncomfortable scene, line learning, stage fright, writer's block, specific skills that need honing or public speaking, hypnotherapy can help people to clear out the inhibitions that might be hidden in the subconsious mind so they move forward without fear.
